ApêlElain is a fundraising appeal raising vital cash for charities involved in the care of Elain James who is the amazing daughter of one of our members. Originally launched on 1st of January 2011 the initial aim of the appeal was to raise funds for charities that were paramount in supporting Elain James and her family through an incredibly tough first year of life in 2010.

British Heart Foundation is a national charity that offer information and support all those affected by congenital and acquired heart disease.  They also fund vital research projects all over the UK that are working towards fighting heart disease.

The Brompton Fountain support children with life threatening medical conditions, who are under the care of Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust, the largest specialist heart and lung centre in the UK.

The Cots for Tots Appeal raises funds to support the Special Care Baby Unit at St Michael’s Hospital, Bristol and Cots for Tots House, a dedicated 12-bedroom family accommodation facility for parents of sick and premature babies.

Dream-A-Way’s aim is to assist people living in Devon, Cornwall and the Scilly Isles with physical and learning difficulties.  They provide grants towards holidays and provide day trips – whether it is fulfilling a lifetime dream, experiencing great opportunities or just having ‘time out’ from daily routines. People of all ages and from around the South West are helped in every way possible to have a Dream-A-Way holiday.

Echo support the families of children affected by heart disease & treated by the Evelina London Children’s Hospital.

Families of Ocean Ward are a registered Charity (1145013) formed by volunteer parents of children with cardiac disease who rely on the services provided by Ocean Ward and it’s team of specialist and dedicated staff.

Their mission is to provide emotional and financial support to families making use of the facilities on Ocean Ward, the paediatric cardiac ward at Southampton General Hospital.

Little Hearts Matter offers support and information, and raises awareness of those affected when a child has only half a heart, due to conditions such as Complex Pulmonary Atresia, Tricuspid Atresia, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) or Double Inlet or Outlet Ventricle (Univentricular Heart).
